 2016 Fundraiser Event at the Great Hall - Valley Plaza Resort
about our event:House to Home (formerly known as the One Roof Rally) is the annual fundraiser held by Midland Area Homes. In 2017, we are focusing on items for the home and garden with an emphasis on up-cycled, re-purposed, and reinvented pieces, along with donations from area businesses and artists. We will auction the items at the event. All of the proceeds will directly benefit Midland Area Homes. In 2016, 250 people attended the event, and we raised $50,000. Our 2017 goal is to raise $60,000!
Entertainment Midwest Dueling Pianos are going to be entertaining our guests along with complimentary hors d'oeuvres for the night. We will also have an open bar for our guests.Silent and live auctions will be taking place as well as drawings for some really great gifts! First silent auction table closes at 6pm. It is going to be a fun night out! We have forms available to download. You can email the form back to us or mail them directly.

Meet our 2017 House to home hosts
david and Jill helgerson
David and Jill Helgerson have quite a diverse background - from marketing/sales/management at Dow Chemical, to owning and managing coffee shops, to engagement in their local church, to Downtown Midland development. But the common thread in their almost 30 years living in Midland, is their faith and LOVE FOR THE COMMUNITY OF MIDLAND. Both have been active in partnering with local ministries and organizations to help those in need or just making life a little easier for those experiencing hard times. Dave’s more recent development project had him interacting with Midland Area Homes where he first learned about their organization and the great things they are doing in the Midland Community.
They have 4 grown children, 1 grandchild and one more on the way!
